George Roberts is the owner and founder of HGSI Investment Software, Inc. He started the company in 1995 under the name of Investor Reference Library (IRL). The company provided a set of industry-organized files under the same name to individual investors who wanted to do group analysis using software products such as AIQ, Metastock, and others. Almost 20 years later the original IRL product has become HGSI Investor Software, a sophisticated software platform of analysis tools for investors.
