Welcome to this week’s Review.

Last week I titled my webinar BEWARE OF BULL TRAPS. Boy did we get one with the market moving higher early in week before finishing down.

The world economies are in weakening shape while the US yield curve inversions might be signaling a coming recession here as well. This has led to heated exchanges from our President to the President of the FED to cut rates. Powell was dovish on Friday in WYOMING so more cuts are probably on the way.

This may have given Trump the headroom he wanted before his latest salvo in the trade war with CHINA. This spooked the markets on Friday as both sides retaliated against each other.

The major indices are at a critical junction here. Do we bounce or is this this the place that we see the sell off we have been talking about.
