HGS Box Stocks & Swing Trading

In honor of Ian Woodward, my partner who recently passed away, my emphasis this month is on HGS Box Stocks. I will show you several techniques to help you profit from HGS Box Stocks by using several new views, filters, and combos that I have created for HGSI users.

One of Ian’s many contributions to prospecting was his creation of HGS Box Stocks. This is his method of classifying stocks by a box number designation if they meet certain earnings growth requirements over various time frames.

Ian’s method of quickly identifying stocks that are experiencing consistent earnings growth is called HGS Box Stocks because of the format Ian used when he originally laid out the criteria in a Nine Box Matrix. Ian created his layout in 1992, so it has stood the test of time for nearly 25 years.
