Who would have thought we would have ended October with new closing highs on the SP, Dow and NASDAQ?

Will this V bottom hold?  Have we moved too far too fast?  Will the Mid Term Elections bring out the Bears?  Or, are we still drunk with QE infinity, as our FED pulls  back, the Japanese appear to have jumped into the QE pool.  Join me as I journey through this weekend’s charts.  I also have some information about the upcoming meeting in February in the beginning presentation.

This is the official notice for our upcoming meeting in Palm Beach February 7-9 2015.

We had a great meeting in NYC last year but the weather was not cooperative.  We had a great meeting in June in S Florida and all the attendees loved the location.  Now it is time to combine the best of both meetings and coerce George out of the Winter in British Columbia and down to the sunshine in South Florida.

George and I look forward to a great meeting using HGSI, EdgeRater, TOS, Tradestation and our other favorite tools to teach you the What, When, and Why and How to trade.  We will also review various strategies for trade management and money management.  This meeting is to advance your trading IQ.  Although we will use our favorite tools, what we teach is likely transferable to whatever tools you already are using.

I have negotiated discounted room rates at the Best Western as follows.   This is Prime Time in FL so I have chosen the Best Western which is off the BEACH because of its affordability.  I will share a link for hotel registrations to registered attendees.  I have personally checked out the rooms and they are updated and clean with free internet access and parking.

Marriott Palm Beach on Singer Island – site of June meeting.  Outstanding hotel and on beach if you are bringing family.  This is a high end hotel and is less than 10 minutes and 2 traffic lights from the Best Western

Hilton Singer Island – adjacent to the Marriott.   Less expensive but still on the beach.  Rooms are fine.  The key is location, location, location

NOTE:  FOR THOSE wanting to cut costs, there is public beach access in a park adjacent to the Marriott so your loved ones can go the beach while you save money at the Best Western

OTHER OPTIONS:

At I-95 and PGA exit there is a Marriott, Embassy Suites and Doubletree hotel.   These should be closer to $140 or less per  night.

At the airport you have many hotels that might offer cheaper accommodations

The February 2014 meeting was mostly George’s show with heavy emphasis on how he uses TOS, web based and other tools to make great trades.  The June meeting was all about how to maximize the use of HGSI and EdgeRater.  My goal for this meeting is to bring together the best of from the Feb and June meetings and build upon that foundation.  I am attempting to secure additional speakers.  For those that are unaware, in February we had Jan Arps and in June John Person bring their approach to the markets to our audience.
