HGSI software provides a rich stock charting component designed to allow users to quickly explore stocks using charting views. Each view configures the chart window’s appearance with indicator sub-windows. Flipping through views can be done very quickly to see different aspects of a stock.
HGSI software has fifty indicators that cover a wide range of investment styles and methods. In addition, we have a number of stock charting indicators that work with our group indexing system. This allows you to plot charts of more traditional group analysis indicators like the ARMS index and the McClellen index, as well as Advancing/Declining lines, etc.

Visual Filter Backtest |
HGSI’s fundamental panel shows a stock’s scorecard of fundamental earnings and rankings at glance, including a mini-chart of earnings and revenue. There are additional panels showing other fundamental values.
In order to visualize the results of the filter system, HGSI software has a special charting indicator: Visual Backtest Filter. The VBF indicator places a colored vertical bar on the chart when a user-defined filter would have met all of the filter rules. This special indicator shows a clear picture of a stock’s price and volume movement correlated to the rules of the filter.
